Cowboy Hat Samurai Zombie Slayer in a Bikini

That should be the name of this movie. One -Chahbara. Based on a videogame it says. The characters are introduced. Slicing and slaying. Motorcycled shooting, digital blood spray on the camera lens.

I love seeing bullets slide along blades. A popular effect these days. Saw it Takashi Miike's Sukiyaki Western Django last week. This takes it further with worse production values. But bullets are being swatted away with a sword in a fairly convincing manner. So, yeah cool.

This movie could not be worse. The occasional over the top cgi assisted action scenes don't help. It does feel like a video game, so if I was a fan...and didn't have any taste...i'd still fast foward to the inventive mediocre actiony bits.

Movies to watch instead of this one.

Fong Sai Yuk. Wanted. Hellboy 2. Thriller A Cruel picture. Really, even the two hours of 70's explotation trailers I watched the other day held my attention better. Sigh.
